Sacred Pace

God has a sacred pace all His own for the decisions of our lives, and every one of us needs His Holy Spirit to be able to discern it. In that sacred pace-in God's sovereign timing-His Spirit leads us to a sacred place: the center of God's will.

The gut answer is the God answer if, as a follower of Christ, you're attuned to His Spirit. What's in my gut is what I'm sure of in the morning quiet before I start my day, for example, or maybe in the stillness before I drift off to sleep at night. It's not the pride-driven, impulsive, restless, anxiety-producing things I think all day long.
